With enhancements in design and technology, the updated 2019 Skoda Fabia comes to this year’s Geneva Motor Show to rock the small car market. The design changes seem to have been done in a bit of a hurry to be honest, but the car does look fresh enough to deserve the title of ‘new’.  To quickly go over the new stuff in the design of 2019 Skoda Fabia, you have the revised fascia front and rear, complete with the new headlights and new wheel design, including an 18 inch option for the hatchback version. LED head and taillights are among the other new options. Size-wise, the Fabia hasn’t changed much, but inside the cabin redesigned instrument cluster, new trim strips for the dashboard and two-tone finishes for the seats count among the improved elements. [embedded content] A 1.0 liter, three-cylinder petrol unit comprises the entire engine lineup for the 2019 Skoda Fabia, but it comes with four different outputs. The MPI engines feature indirect injection and produce outputs of 60 hp and 75 hp respectively, while the TSI units with their turbocharging and direct petrol injection offer 95 hp and 110 hp. The crossover segment is showing no signs of diminishing. If anything, it is getting bigger, which is why even car makers like Skoda is delving deeper into this market. These sketches they have released previews the Skoda Vision X concept, a new urban crossover set for debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.  Though compact, The Vision X is described by Skoda as having generous proportions and a spacious interior. The concept features at the latest trends incorporated into Skoda’s design language, but don’t hold your breath to see any of the cool styling elements of the concept, such as distinctive bumpers, dynamic side sills, or the 20-inch alloy wheels, on the production model. The same goes for the unique FlexGreen paint job Skoda Vision X concept boasts. As for the interior, Skoda Vision X concept features a completely new design language and introduces daring new elements of style. It has an ergonomically contoured dashboard with freestanding colour display for the connectivity services. ABT Sportline is coming to this year’s Geneva Motor Show with a hotted-up version of Audi’s RS5 Coupe. To look at it you would think ABT Audi RS5-R is a totally different animal than the standard car. But in fact the upgrades are pretty subtle in nature.This car just naturally look awesome.  In the engine department ABT Audi RS5-R does get a pretty good upgrade, but it’s nothing mind-blowing. The tuner has upped the output of the 2.9 liter biturbo V6 motor by 80 horsepower and boosted the torque by 90 Nm. That means the RS5 now has 530 horsepower and 690 Nm of torque to play with. And that means it can sprint form 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds as opposed to the standard model which completes the same task in 3.9 seconds. So there is no over-the-top million horsepower treatment here and that’s great. Those over-powered tuner cars are rarely usable on daily basis. ABT Audi RS5-R, though, could be driven everyday. We are prepare to bet next year’s salary not one of them ever uses the full potential of the 1,500 horsepower machine, but that is not the point of this car. The real purpose of the Chiron is to make you look good as pull up at your favorite restaurant or casino or gala event. Whenever there is a new Audi announced, it is a given that a tricked-out ABT version will follow it. And so here is your 2018 ABT Audi RS3, presenting an upgrade package that fits both the Sportback (hatchback) and Sedan versions of the hot little Ingolstädter.  A single glance at the new ABT Audi RS3 is enough to know it scores very high on the sex appeal index. But the upgrades devised for this car aren’t just cosmetic. They are designed to improve the high-performance Audi’s ride and handling, as well as its general driving fun, and at the same time give it cooler, more aggressive looks as a sort of bonus. Well, you don’t need to strain your mind anymore trying to envision what the new 2019 Volkswagen Jetta will look like. VW has dropped the official renderings of the new mid-size sedan ahead of its NAIAS debut, and they leave nothing to the imagination. Here’s thew new Jetta, and isn’t it just… ordinary? Not that we were expecting some revolutionary new design or some extraordinary feature. But the 2019 Volkswagen Jetta does not appear to different enough from the existing model to justify the title of ‘new’. In faiess though, they seem to have tried to include some of the design cues from the sexy Arteon into the Jetta, especially around the front and rear fascia. That means even though the standard model may not be very exciting, there is hope still for the R-version and other possible high performance variants to address the issue with sportier cues and more aggressive features.
