More and more car makers are delving into the field of offering parts and accessories usually thought to be the realm of aftermarket specialists. This year’s Geneva Motor Show will see the debut of something rather special from Land Rover, something we haven’t seen since the 70s. It’s called the Range Rover SV Coupe, and it’s a two-door version of the full-size luxury SUV featuring a “seductive” design and an ultra-refined interior.  They have only released a photo of the interior so far, but that is enough to make us long for this Range Rover SV Coupe. The original Range Rover launched in the 1970 as a two-door model, but that form kind of went away, featured only on a version of the Evoque. The SV, though, it’s not a downsized Range Rover or anything pathetic. It’s full-size, they say, and it’s going to blow you way with its sexiness, luxuriousness, and overall coolness. Range Rover SV Coupe will not appeal to those who buy a SUV because they need the practicality… because it’s just not going to be as practical as the four-door variant. That’s just a fact. Brain scientists tell us that this magnificently complex organ initiates any given action before we have even decided to do it. What that implies with regards to free will notwithstanding, car makers are trying to take advantage of this feature of the brain to make autonomous driving better. Nissan Brain-to-Vehicle is the first of these systems that “promises to speed up reaction times for drivers.” What that means is, the cars of the future will have an artificial intelligence powerful enough to read your brain signals which are essentially electric waves. With the release of the all-new 2018 Nissan LEAF UK Spec only a month away, the company confirmed the official pricing of the innovative electric car. The thoroughly improved new LEAF can be had in the UK for as little as £21,990, while the range-topping version with all the bells and whistle runs for £33,655. Mind you, these prices include the £4,500 Govement Grant for electric vehicles. So you’d better hope nothing happens to that as officials come and go. At any rate, the 2018 Nissan LEAF UK Spec offers new and much improved styling, a host of new technology features, and crucially higher battery capacity for better range. It now has a range of 235 miles (NEDC) which is 50 percent better than its predecessor, and you get more power to at 150 horsepower. Whenever you tu on the news these days, all you hear is war and chaos and silly tweets by politicians. It makes you think the world is on the verge of collapse, and it very well may be. Bugatti alone has delivered 70 Chirons, meeting their production plans as though they are making family sedans!  As the ultimate production super sports car, Bugatti Chiron is a must-have accessory for the billionaires the world over. We are prepare to bet next year’s salary not one of them ever uses the full potential of the 1,500 horsepower machine, but that is not the point of this car. The real purpose of the Chiron is to make you look good as pull up at your favorite restaurant or casino or gala event. Yet another feather in Jaguar Land Rover’s SVO division’s cap. The limited edition Jaguar XE SV Project 8 has just destroyed the lap record for four-door sedans at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, going around the 12.9-mile German circuit in 7 minutes 23 seconds. That is a full 11 seconds quicker than the previous record! Of course, Nurburgring records are useless in the real world. All they get you is some bragging rights.
