That is the price of the “entry-level” S560 model which replaces the S500 and brings with it a new 4.0-litre biturbo V8 petrol engine. You get 469 hp and 700 Nm of torque, a nine-speed automatic gearbox, and 0 to 62 mph in 4.6 seconds. Not that it matters, but average fuel consumption is 31.4 mpg with 204 g/km of CO2. German tuner SCHMIDT Revolution has picked a Mercedes CLA 45 AMG to show off their new Gambit wheel design on in a way that would attract the most attention. That’s the thing about the CLA. The car seems to have a good media presence and the tuners love it a great deal as well, but you don’t see many that of them out in the real world. In any case, the Mercedes CLA 45 AMG has as always responded well to modifications which on this particular one include a set of SCHMIDT Revolution 19 inch Gambit rims in black wrapped with 225/35R19 tires up front and 235/35R19 tires out back. The concave rims are complemented with red brake calipers, 25mm lowered suspension thanks to H&R springs, side stripes, OEM rear wing, and a chip tuning kit that boosts the output of the AMG four-cylinder turbo engine to 400 horsepower. You know DS Automobile of Switzerland as one of the most active representatives of Hamann Motorsport in the world. They usually do only the visual stuff like body kits and wheels, but this time they’ve gone a bit technical and equipped a BMW M135i xDrive with a power package.
