The partnership between Mercedes-AMG and Cigarette Racing is legendary. Every time AMG comes up with a new supercar the boat makers release a special model celebrating that car. And so now it is time for a speedboat version of the AMG Project One, and it’s called Cigarette Racing 515 Project ONE. Right now we only have a teaser drawing of this magnificent thing to drool over, but the wait is not going to be long since Cigarette Racing 515 Project ONE will be revealed next week at the Miami Boat Show (February 15, 2018). Judging by what we can see, the boat tries to replicate the unique look of the hypercar with a special paint work featuring a silver base and black accents. As the sea-faring equivalent of the Project one, is also going to be fast. Like, really fast. And just like the car, it is going to be the privilege of a select few to enjoy its looks and performance. ABT Sportline is coming to this year’s Geneva Motor Show with a hotted-up version of Audi’s RS5 Coupe. To look at it you would think ABT Audi RS5-R is a totally different animal than the standard car. But in fact the upgrades are pretty subtle in nature.This car just naturally look awesome.  In the engine department ABT Audi RS5-R does get a pretty good upgrade, but it’s nothing mind-blowing. The tuner has upped the output of the 2.9 liter biturbo V6 motor by 80 horsepower and boosted the torque by 90 Nm. That means the RS5 now has 530 horsepower and 690 Nm of torque to play with. And that means it can sprint form 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds as opposed to the standard model which completes the same task in 3.9 seconds. So there is no over-the-top million horsepower treatment here and that’s great. Those over-powered tuner cars are rarely usable on daily basis. ABT Audi RS5-R, though, could be driven everyday. Only it is more enjoyable,mainly thanks to the enhanced performance but also the new ABT muffler system which is part of the performance package and makes a superb noise. Whenever there is a new Audi announced, it is a given that a tricked-out ABT version will follow it. And so here is your 2018 ABT Audi RS3, presenting an upgrade package that fits both the Sportback (hatchback) and Sedan versions of the hot little Ingolstädter.  A single glance at the new ABT Audi RS3 is enough to know it scores very high on the sex appeal index. But the upgrades devised for this car aren’t just cosmetic. They are designed to improve the high-performance Audi’s ride and handling, as well as its general driving fun, and at the same time give it cooler, more aggressive looks as a sort of bonus. This is best evident in the way the tuner has employed the height adjustable KW suspension. They lower the ride height of the car and thus improve the road holding and grip, while improving the stance. When teamed up with the unique wheels offered for ABT Audi RS3, the suspension really comes into its own in giving the car a superb look. The wheel range for this car include 19 or 20 inch rims in ABT ER-C, ER-F or FR series. 2018 ABT Audi RS3 also includes a number of additional aerodynamic elements and interior finishing upgrades. We really did not think that something like the Maybach G650 Landaulet could possibly have a rival, but we were wrong. In our defense that is such a niche vehicle, no one would be inclined to invest in making such a thing… no one except the eccentric visionary Afzal Kahn, it tus out. He has just teased the Kahn Flying Huntsman 6×6 Soft Top which is a direct attempt at the Landaulet’s life.  On the face of it comparing a wonky Land Rover, which is what Kahn Flying Huntsman 6×6 Soft Top is based on, to the unique Mercedes G-Class, which is what the Maybach G650 is based on, seems idiotic. Of course the Mercedes is a superior product. But you see, the Hunstman is no ordinary Land Rover. It is a completely bespoke car, every part of which is improved and when necessary redesigned from scratch by Kahn artisans. Granted, it still may not be as spacious or as comfortable as the big G, but calling it just as classy and luxurious is not stretching the truth. There are obvious advantages with Kahn Flying Huntsman 6×6 Soft Top as well. For starters, it’s a 6×6 whereas the G650 has only, I mean only, four wheels. Not wanting to jut hand over the competition to the rivals, and also to avoid being hated on by half the population of the world’s football watching crowd, Audi decided to give FC Barcelona footballers brand-new cars as well. A week or so ago they delivered a fleet of the latest models to Real Madrid players. As if the mega-rich superstars of Real Madrid FC needed a free car, team sponsor Audi delivered a fleet of brand-spanking-new models to them to drive in the new season.
