But for us the Brabus Mercedes CLS 850 remains one of the all-time greats on account of the car’s unique blend of utter savagery and exquisite style. Based on the Mercedes-Benz GLS 63 AMG Brabus has created a monster that redefines the term Super SUV. Christened Brabus Mercedes GLS 850 XL, this massive and massively powerful family bus is utterly pointless as far as practical matters are conceed, but totally and completely awesome in every other way. As the name suggests, Brabus Mercedes GLS 850 XL has the beefy twin-turbo AMG eight-cylinder engine which Brabus has upped to six liters and modified so deeply, it doesn’t even resemble the standard unit. The result of this engineering work is 850 horsepower and a mind-boggling peak torque of 1,450 Nm (1,069 lb-ft). And what that means in the real world is a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) time of 4.2 seconds and a limited top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph). Mercedes-Benz specialist Brabus has revealed what they have in store for the owners of the latest generation of the C-Class W/S205 wagon and sedan models. The aero kits shows here will keep you amused while they are coming up a real Brabus Mercedes C-Class tuning package with more power than anyone would ever need. There is no getting away from the fact that although the new Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 is a very fine car in terms of quality and practicality and all that boring stuff, it is rather dull and uninteresting. Granted, there isn’t much to get exited about in terms of styling with the Brabus Mercedes G500 4×4. Not that it’s dull or anything, but it looks pretty much the same as the standard car save a few more black details and a cool grille. That’s why this one right here rocks a one-of-a-kind interior. The interior design is what sets this Brabus Mercedes G500 4×4 apart from the run-of-the-mill models and makes it something worthy of closer inspection. The main highlight of this bad boy in side the cabin is a healthy dose of blue leather which covers the seats, dashboard, consoles, arm rests, door cards, transmission tunnel, steering wheel, pillars… pretty much every visible surface. The blue leather is then complemented with black stitching which has been used liberally to not only piece various bits together, but also give them a nice design pattes and show off the tuner’s logo wherever there was space for it. Adding to the drama of the design is a few select pieces of carbon fiber trim with big chunky weaves in keeping with the size of the car, and a set of Brabus steel pedals. We kind of made the body kit on this Brabus Mercedes G500 4×4 seem insignificant with the opening sentence of this post which is probably not fair.
