The sole big-time tuner of American cars in Germany, Geiger, has a special offer for those who are fed up with German sports coupes. The offer is GeigerCars Cadillac ATS-V, a version of the American coupe enhanced and improved by the tuner so that it can rival the best of what Europe has to offer in this segment. In exchange for 74,900 Euros the tuner gives you a GeigerCars Cadillac ATS-V with 508 horsepower, 659Nm of torque, and a top speed of 312 km/h. You also get the unique looks of the Caddy which has a lot more straight lines in it than anything you can find in Europe. The looks are cool, but the same can’t be said of the Cadillac badge itself. It is kind of amazing that if you want the most extreme version of an iconic American muscle car today you have to go to Germany. We are talking about a unique version of the Dodge Viper ACR presented by GeigerCars, packing 765 horsepower and a full carbon aero kit. This beast comes with a hundred or so more horsepower than the regular Dodge Viper ACR and benefits from an Extreme Aero Package that gives the car the appearance of a real racing car sneaking onto the public roads. The 8.4 liter V10 engine is uprated by Geiger through the use of new camshafts and manifolds as well as a custom exhaust system with racing cats, the net result of which is an output of is 765 horsepower and 920 Nm of torque. The tuner has also worked on the carbon aero kit and made it a bit more extreme, and they have installed a set of forged wheels measuring 11 × 19 inch and 13 × 19 inch on the front and rear respectively. Davie Police Department of Florida decided they wanted to be extra patriotic on this year’s Independence Day and had one of their Dodge Charger cruisers wrapped in a special 4th of July-inspired design. The wrapper doing the honors is Miami’s own Metro Wrapz. The wrap on this Dodge Charger cruiser is just Murica as f*ck, featuring the Stars and Stripes on the front fascia and the sides of the vehicle, and a massive bald eagle on the hood looking at you as if to say “you’re a long way from home, boy.” For some reason this 4th of July Dodge Charger reminds of the Lamborghini Trumpventador we saw at GoldRush Rally a while back. It has the same aura of xenophobia and redneckery about it. I think it is safe to say, judging by what they’ve done to this car, that collectively Davie Police department is not voting for Hilary this November. Remember those unique 25th anniversary limited editions Vipers? Well, don’t bother, they’re all gone. A few days after these models were announced as the last production units of the Dodge Viper before the car is cosigned to history books again all of them are sold out, most of them merely minutes after the order books opened. The biggest hit of them all was the Dodge Viper 1:28 Edition ACR, a limited edition of just 28 units built to celebrate the car’s lap record at Laguna Seca. It sold out within 40 minutes. The rest of the lineup were a little bit slower to sell, but they all went way too quickly by car selling standards. Viper VoooDoo II Edition ACR, limited to 31 units and featuring a unique aero kit and paint scheme, was gone in just two hours. All 25 units of the Viper Snakeskin Edition GTC which proved more popular than expected were sold within two ordering days. The same was true of Viper GTS-R Commemorative Edition ACR, the 100 units of which took two days to be snatched up. And finally it took five days for the 22 Dodge Dealer Edition ACR, which was built as an homage to the best performing dealers, to go. Until now the only decent wide body kit you could get for your Dodge Challenger was from Liberty Walk. But now the Germans have delved into this field with a neat package. The new Prior Design Dodge Challenger PD900HC offers a pretty good alteative to the Japanese kit for the American car. Unlike LB-Performance’s offering, the wide body kit on Prior Design Dodge Challenger puts more emphasis on the actual aero kit rather than the flared wheel arches. You still get a pair of properly flared wheel arches on each axle, it certainly delivers the goods in that aspect. But you cold also go for the non-wide version and still get a cool aero kit improving the Challenger’s looks and aerodynamic efficiency. But let’s stick here with the full-fat PD900HC (HellCat) version of Prior Design Dodge Challenger and see what sort of ingredients it has. At the front of the car you get a bespoke spoiler lip flanked little winglets on the side which Prior call cupwings, side skirts, a sizable rear diffuser and a prominent ducktail spoiler. But the meat of the program remains the extra wide fenders attached to the body using exposed bolt apparatus.  A set of fat wheels and some suspension adjustment give the car that cool slammed look.
