Following the introduction of the all-new Ram 1500 series at Detroit Auto Show, Chrysler now unveils a more premium version for those truckers who value luxury. The 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie Longho is an exquisite product, looking like it could rival an Escalade while still being able to carry a large load of manor.  In short then, this is the kind of pickup truck you can go to the chu in in the moing, ferry the the cattle around around noon, and use it as wedding car in the evening. 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie Longho is distinguished on the outside over the regular models via two-tone RV Match Brown trim or monotone paint, premium LED headlamps and tail lamps, and unique wheels and grilles. Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus is best known to most of you for their bespoke Ferrari-based supercars and race cars. But they are branching out, and one of the projects they have in mind is this weird and interesting offroad vehicle. This road-legal “expedition” vehicle is being built with the ultimate goal of driving up a volcano and setting a World Altitude Record at 7,000 meters.  That explains the design of the Glickenhaus offroader and the whole arrangement viz-a-viz suspension and wheels and underpinnings. The central driving position could also be justified in the same vein, although we have to wait and see if it makes it into the final production model. There are going to be a couple of different variants of Glickenhaus offroad vehicle, apparenlty nicknamed SCG Boot, with this four four-door Expedition version going for the Volvano record, and a two-door version called Steve for lighter adventures. Both variants will be available for purchase and in fact Glickenhaus says they have already received some inquiries. It’s still pretty cheap for what offers at £16,225, but it’s a spunky little thing with a lot of attitude! Can’t afford the new Megane RS? Don’t despair. For a lot less money you can get yourself a Renault Clio R.S.18 which, in many ways, is a cooler proposition. Well, you may be able to get one, because it’s a limited edition model and these cars usually sell like hot cakes.  Named after Renault Sport Formula One Team’s 2018, the 2018 Renault Clio R.S.18 is a car designed for motorsport enthusiasts. The color scheme mirrors that of the F1 car with black and yellow accents. It also gets special R.S.18 badging on the front doors, plus the grey decals and new R.S. double-diamond logo on the roof. But perhaps the most daring feature of the exterior is the Sirius Yellow for the F1-style front blade, protective side mouldings and wheel centre caps which go really well with the deep black paint work. Under the skin Renault Clio R.S.18 is a 220 EDC Trophy with 220 horsepower engine which features a torque boost function for peak torque of 280 Nm. Americans love their SUVs plush, and so Mercedes announced the launch of a more ‘Grand’ version of their GLS for the US market. The 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLS Grand Edition comes with exclusive interior and exterior elements that set it apart from the standard version. The cost of this extra luxuriousness will be announced after the debut of Mercedes-Benz GLS Grand Edition at the Detroit Auto Show and before it reaches the dealerships in mid-2018. It will be available on both GLS450 4MATIC and GLS550 4MATIC, so if you only want to look top-of-the-line but don’t big power to go with it you can get the smaller, cheaper one and still enjoy the looks and amenities. Japanese tuner Wald Inteational has finally released a preview of their latest Black Bison package, tailored for the BMW’s flagship sedan. The new Wald BMW 7 Series styling package fits both G11 and G12 variants of the 7er which are the short and long wheelbase models respectively.  This generation of the 7er has a unique and angry kind of design which seems to respond well to subtle improvements. But that is just what Wald BMW 7 Series is not, at least in its upcoming version. The tuner has done a diet version of this car which we will get to in a minute. What they are previewing here is a full body kit with completely revised bumpers and skirts and some old-fashioned wheels which make the car look like it’s been customized by a teenager in a video game. Still, this kind of look might appeal to some people. They may find the Japanese design of the front bumper with its unusual vents and grilles intriguing, and the slammed suspension just the thing to make the car sportier. Every year we are treated to a whole bunch of new 911 models, but only a handful of them are interesting enough to warrant a close inspection. The 2018 Porsche 911 GT3 Touring Package is certainly one of those, a wing-less, manual version of the GT3 built for purists. Here we take a close look at this superb machine in detailed pictures and videos.  The distinguishing feature of the Porsche 911 GT3 Touring Package is a variable rear spoiler like the 911 Carrera in place of the regular GT3 large fixed wing. Being a pure sort of 911, the car features a four-litre naturally aspirated engine with 500 horsepower and 460 Nm. Along with the GT3 Touring Package, this year we also got a tighter, lighter version of the Carrera. It’s called the Porsche 911 Carrera T, a badge that harks back 1968, and it promises some old-school fun with features such as less weight, shorter transmission ratios from the manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive with mechanical rear differential lock. Let’s take a deeper look at this cool sports car. Powering the 2018 Porsche 911 Carrera T is a twin turbocharged 3.0 liter flat-six with 370 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. It enables the T to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 290 km/h.while manual gearbox is standard,  PDK is available as an option. But 911 T is more about the fun of driving than outright speed, mainly thanks to a shorter rear axle ratio and mechanical differential lock, but also to some serious weight saving.
