2018 Audi RS3 – UK Pricing and Specs

One of the most beloved high-end hot hatches in the British market will soon hit the showrooms bringing with it a new sedan (saloon) variant. The 2018 Audi RS3 models  are now available to order, the Sportback (hatchback) priced from £44,300 OTR and the Saloon from £45,250 OTR. First deliveries are expected in September. 

Whether you go for the saloon or the good old hatch, the 2018 Audi RS3 is not likely to disappoint you. I mean, how could it, when it’s equipped with an improved 2.5 TFSI motor that generates 400 PS and 480 Nm (354.0 lb-ft) of torque. The firepower is backed by sophisticated aiming apparatus in form of seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission and quattro all-wheel-drive system which together put down the power so efficiently, the RS3 manages to sprint form 0 to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds on its way to a top speed of 155 mph (upgrade to 174 mph at extra cost).

The RS treatments means the 2018 Audi RS3 gets the beefy body kit, larger wheels, powerful brakes, and sport exhaust. But as is often the case with Audi, some of the nicest options are costly extras – RS sport exhaust system and RS sport suspension with Audi Magnetic Ride. You do however get standard MMI Navigation Plus which is paired with a touch-sensitive control panel, Audi Virtual Cockpit, and RS steering wheel, but again some of the cool stuff like Nappa are listed as extras.

But if you are spending more, shell out for the available safety gear such as Driver Assistance Pack which includes traffic jam assist, which can briefly take over not only acceleration and braking but also steering in slow-moving traffic at speeds of up to 37mph. There is also front collision prevention, traffic sign detection, and lane changing assist.
