Edo McLaren 675LT Gets a New Look

You know Edo Competition as a tuner who is more interested in the way a car goes rather than the way it looks. But with the Edo McLaren 675LT they have apparently decided the car is mechanically perfect, so they set about upgrading its looks.

That is so unlike Edo, but we have to say the end result isn’t actually half bad. Edo McLaren 675LT gets in this visual treatment a whole bunch of new yellow accents and a partial wrap in matte black. The car now looks like it’s been through a strict MSO regiment in which it’s acquired these extra badges of honor. You may not like what they’ve done to the LongTail, but it sure looks a lot more exclusive now… as if it weren’t already, what with only 500 production units and a price tag that’s getting awfully close to half a million dollars these days.

So what we have here with the new-look Edo McLaren 675LT is a healthy dose of yellow striping that covers the edge of almost all aero parts on the car, going round headlights and crossing the sills all the way to the rear diffuser. They have also finished the exterior badges in this color which is kind of nice. Then we have the matte black pieces of vinyl applied to the bonnet and the roof to create a racing stripe of sorts. Good? Bad? Well, it’s Edo’s choice.
