Citroen has established itself as the world’s quirkiest car maker, which means they can do anything they like with the design of their cars and it’ll be okay. The new special edition for Britain, Citroen C1 Furio, is a case in point.

You wouldn’t drive a Hyundai or a Vauxhall is it looked this loopy, would you? Definitely not. But since this thing is a Citroen you don’t mind being seen in it. In fact, some may even go so far as call this cute. That’s a matter of taste. What we’re interested in with cheap, small cars is value. So let’s see what this 11 grand Citroen C1 Furio offers for the money.

Short answer: nothing substantial. Yes, you do get a lot of extra gaish on the exterior, but they are extremely inconsequential. The main highlights of the Furio include 51-inch ‘Planet’ alloy wheels, exterior graphics, Sunrise Red door mirrors and wheel centre caps, Lipizzan White or Carlinite Grey metallic, rear diffuser with central tailpipe, plus ‘Wave’ grey cloth upholstery and a rev counter inside the cabin.

Citroen C1 Furio Special Edition is available in the UK with two engines, including a VTi 68 hp manual (£10,855) and a PureTech 82 manual (£11,205).
