1967 Ferrari 275 GTB4 at Jay Leno’s Garage

Jay Leno, as you may know, is not really a Ferrari guy. We don’t mean he hates them, but when you have a garage with 150+ cars and none of them are Ferraris, something’s definitely up. This is all very curious because Leno is Italian-American. At any rate, the man is now at least trying to get to grips with this brand as welcomes to his shop a 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB4.

This unique, gorgeous, and extremely expensive GTB4 belongs to jeweler and car enthusiast David Lee who lets Jay drives his car hard in the hope that he would see the light:

The 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB4 is in many ways the forefather of today’s front-engined V12 Ferraris like the 599 and the F12. But we’re not sure that forty years on we’re going to feel as good about those GT cars as we do about the 275. The modern Ferraris are like appliances, whereas the older models were like a painting, or a piece of jewelry, or a very fine wine. Sadly you don’t get stuff like that in the auto industry anymore.
