Spotlight: Bespoke Blue Rolls-Royce Dawn

Rolls-Royce puts out a new bespoke, special edition model every other week, and to be frank they are often vulgar, ostentatiously styled cars built to satisfy parvenu’s sense of vanity. This latest one though, the Bespoke Blue Rolls-Royce Dawn, well, it is still that but it is also refreshingly different than anything we have seen before.

The Bespoke Blue Rolls-Royce Dawn should have been called after dawn because it is finished in a lovely shade of blue that reminds one of the color of a crisp, trouble-free summer morning. It is complemented with center caps in the same colors and brushed grille, and paired with an interior which is as unique as the exterior, but we’re afraid nowhere near as refreshing to look at.

The interior of the Bespoke Blue Rolls-Royce Dawn is a literal assault on the senses. RR says it’s the result of a personal take on a “Mandarin palette” garnished with a heavy dose of Rosewood panels – found on the dashboard, consoles, door cards, and the rear deck – and thick, lush mustard-colored shagpile.  Even Austin Powers would say this is just too much.

A gold-plated Spirit of Ecstasy completes the Bespoke treatment on this Dawn.
