Wald BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe in the Flesh

We have already shown you the exquisite Wald BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe in the official press photos released by the Japanese tuner. But since Wald’s products are among the few tuner cars that actually look better in the flesh than in the heavily edited press material we need to have another look at the car.

What’s interesting about Wald body kits is that in the preview photos and studio pictures they usually look overly ostentatious and rather vulgar. But as you can see here with this Wald BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe out in the real world, under the natural light of the sun, the thing actually looks pretty decent. Granted, it’s not exactly understated and discreet, but it’s not too showoff-y, either.

What Wald BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe is, is a handsome, sporty, and very exclusive-looking sports sedan that looks equally at home at a tuning show as it does parked in front of a classy restaurant. This one here is finished in white which kind of brings out all the lines and contours of the kit and make them pop, and it has been slammed on some huge wheels.

The kit itself includes custom front and rear bumpers featuring a splitter up front and a diffuser out back, side skirts, custom side vents, and a small boot lid spoiler. The wheels on this 6er GC are Wald’s own Illima I11C models.
