Aston Martin Vantage AMR Details, Pricing, Specs

Following the debut of the AMR sub-brand at the Geneva Motor Show, Aston Martin is now announce the launch of its first product, the 2018 Aston Martin Vantage AMR. Set for delivery in Q4 2017 with a limited run of 300 units (100 V12 and 200 V8), the baby AMR starts at £97,995 in the UK and €126,995 in Germany.

Since each of these cars is bespoke to the buyer the prices will definitely go up from there depending on what sort of exlcusive feature they order. What they get as standard with Aston Martin Vantage AMR, though, is a series of motorsport features inspired by the FIA World Endurance Championship winning V8 Vantage GTE. There is a carbon fiber pack including lightweight front grille, side strakes, lamp infills and mirror caps on the outside, instrument surround, door tops and door grabs on the inside, plus carbon seats. There is also a choice of three different finishes for the V8 Vantage AMR’s 5-spoke alloy wheels and the V12 Vantage AMR’s lightweight 10-spoke alloy wheels.

Other highlights include extensive aerodynamic package for coupe models constructed from carbon fibre and featureing front splitter and dive planes, plus side sills and a fixed rear spoiler, optional forged aluminium AMR Vantage wheel, AMR titanium exhaust, which saves 14kg over the standard V12 Vantage system and the ‘Halo Pack’ straight from the race car with Stirling Green paint and vivid Lime Green accents. Speaking of paint, the available color schemes for Aston Martin Vantage AMR include Stratus White with an Orange graphic; Ultramarine Black with Blue graphic; Zaffre Blue with Red graphic; and Scintilla Silver with Grey graphic. Both the 430bhp V8 and the 595bhp V12 model get a automated sequential manual paddle-shift transmission as stardust, But you can also opt for six and seven-speed manual gearboxes in the V8 and V12 respectively.
