Official: 2018 Hyundai Kona

So here it is, the all-new Hyundai Kona, a funky compact SUV that is going to play a major role in Hyundai’s plans to dominate the compact segment in Europe over the next few years. The Kona has a lot going for it, from cool design, to spacious interior equipped with high-tech features, and a range of refined engines. 

Going on sale in Korea this month followed by Europe and North America, the 2018 Hyundai Kona comes with a choice of 150 PS and 180 Nm 2.0-liter MPI Atkinson engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission (0-100km/h time of 10 seconds and a top speed of 194km/h), a 177 PS and 265 Nm Gamma 1.6T-GDI mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (0-100km/h time of 7.7 seconds and a top speed of 210km/h) and a Europe-only 1.0 T-GDI turbocharged three-cylinder engine with six-speed manual transmission developing 120 PS and 170 Nm of torque (0-100km/h time of 12 seconds, top speed of 181km/h).Euro-spec also gets a 1.6 diesel later on. Needless to say, you also have a choice of 2WD and 4WD.

In terms of technology and features, 2018 Hyundai Kona lacks not a single thing.
