Spotlight: Ruby Star Porsche 991 GT3 RS

I’m pretty sure you are fed up to the back teeth with all the colorful GT3 RS’s we features here. But come on, this one’s too special to be taken for granted. The one-off Ruby Star Porsche 991 GT3 RS is currently the hottest RS in America.

Mind you, opinions are divided between this and the mint green example, and that’s before we count in the lover of the blue GT3 RS who themselves are to between Gulf and Miami blue. At any rate, the Ruby Star Porsche 991 GT3 RS is probably the most eye-catching among them all. It certainly was the highlight of the 15th Aual Califoia Festival of Speed Event Coverage where it was featured by BBi Autosport:

And in case you are wondering what’s all this hoopla about the 991 GT3 RS, well, the car has become a bit of a superstar in the auto world, owing mainly to the limited production and the huge demand. The demand itself has to do with the new looks of the RS as well as its 500 horsepower engine, new PDK transmission, and the rear-wheel steering system that makes it a totally different beast than the 997. Everybody wants one of these, which is why prices have become ridiculous.
