Eye Candy: McLaren P1 GTR with F1 Livery

McLaren, it seems, is having a lot more fun with the P1 GTR hyper track car than they did with the road-going version of the car. After all, building this track-only model is a lot easier than the road car, and they are selling them for three times the money. That’s probably why they have time to be iovative with the liveries they put on these models.

One of the latest of these P1 GTR livery stunts is a Rocket Red and Predatory Grey paint work which is an exact replica of the livery on the firm’s Formula One livery. God knows how much this job cost the guy who ordered it for his GTR, but we have to say the end result is quite spectacular. Mind you, not quite as spectacular as the simple and yet utterly brilliant Canepa Green GTR.
